2005 DEDICATION
AWARD
Mark Strahm
Mark Strahm joined the Warriors in 2005 eager to see
if he still had it. Strahm hadn't played
football since his college days and questioned whether
or not he could hang with the younger ball players on
the team. Very quickly he proved to himself and
to the coaching staff that he was the real deal and he
earned himself a starting fullback position.
Strahm, who lives in Carey, Ohio, travels
approximately one hour each way to practices and games
and rarely missed. We could always count on Mark
being at practice said Head Coach John Parkins.
At one point
in the season Strahm injured his shoulder during a
game. It was an injury that should have kept him
off the field for a few weeks, but not this hard
running fullback. Strahm was taped up and ready
to play the very next Saturday.
