Mission Statement: The Community Relations department of the Lima Warriors genuinely cares about the Lima community. Through the organization's support of various charities, causes, and events throughout the area, we hope to display our dedication to making our community a better place for everyone. The Warriors realize the responsibility they have of showing sensitivity and kindness to those that are less fortunate. That's why whether a group of our players are signing autographs for children, speaking at schools about the importance of education, or making a sick child in the hospital smile through a visit, the Warriors always have their eye on the goal more important than the goal of any football game; making a difference in the lives of others.

The Lima Warriors serve the Lima community with pride and passion as a quality example of individual and team excellence on the field and within the community by consistently exceeding our fans’ expectations by demonstrating the highest character, appreciation and respect for our game, fans, teammates and partners as a cost-effective and visionary organization providing a total entertainment experience.

Youth Football Camp:  Lima Warriors hosts and annual non-contact, youth football skills camp.  We are extremely proud of the Warriors' winning tradition and want to share our Commitment to Excellence with the next generation of Warrior players and fans.  The camp is designed to encourage boys age 8 - 12 to participate in and enjoy the game of football.  All camp instruction and activities will be held at the Bath High School facilities in Lima, Ohio.  Warriors' staff and players will be on hand to demonstrate the basic fundamentals of all positions.  We welcome athletes with all levels of experience.  The camp is organized and structured to provide every participant, regardless of skill level, with the same top-notch instruction.

D.A.R.E. Program: Each year during the off-season, Lima Warriors players and coaches speak at schools in the Lima community as part of the D.A.R.E. program. D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) programs are run in conjunction with local police departments nationwide. The police officers work with fifth and sixth graders, teaching them alternatives to drugs and ways to say no to drugs. The Warriors are strong supporters of the D.A.R.E. program and work closely with the local police departments to provide players and coaches to speak with the children in these programs.

Big Brother Big Sisters of Allen County:  Players and coaches from the Lima Warriors mentor local children in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.  Big Brothers Big Sisters of Allen County is a volunteer organization that provides children support, guidance, friendship and fun by matching them to adult role models. For more than 75 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has fulfilled their mission of enriching, encouraging and empowering children to reach their highest potential through safe, positive mentoring relationships.  The only requirements to being a Big is the willingness to make a new friend and a desire to share some fun with a young person.  Bigs and Littles expand each other's horizons by sharing everyday activities: playing sports, seeing movies, going over schoolwork, volunteering in their communities, or just hanging out together.  Within those little moments of friendship lies the big magic that a Big Brother or Big Sister brings to the life of a young person - and that a Little brings to his or her Big. You'd be surprised at what a little time can do for a kid. Not to mention what it can do for you. If you are interested in becoming a mentor please print and complete the applications below and then call John Nevle at (419) 222-8500 for information on the next volunteer orientation.
