Lima Warriors Football

The Lima Warriors have changed league affiliation.  In 2010,  the Lima Warriors have become part of the Heartland Football League.  This move was made to provide a better fit for the goals of the Lima Warriors.  The factors that helped lure the Lima Warriors to the HFL were organization, accountablility and giving back to the players and teams who make up the league.  Since 2007,  the Lima Warriors were a member of the USFA where they were champions in 2007, runner up in 2009, and division champions all three years that they were involved within the league.  While competition in the USFA was fierce, the HFL which now consists of 24 teams will provide a high level of competition that includes the 2009 AA National Champion Mid-Ohio Jets, the Steel Valley Hardhats, Cleveland Cobras, Ohio Valley Warriors, and Akron Jags.  The Lima Warriors will be placed in the North Conference White Division along with the the Cleveland Cobras, Akron Jags, and Mansfield Mauraders.
