WARRIORS KICK-OFF 2007 EARLY

Off-season workout begin for the Warriors on December 2nd.

11/17/06 – LIMA - For the first time in team history the Lima Warriors are beginning their off-season training before the new year begins.

We are doing this for one reason, to win a championship said Head Coach John Parkins.

In the past we didn't start as a team until early spring and we expected our players to workout on their own, said Parkins.  Although we've been good, we haven't been good enough to accomplish our main goal; winning a championship.

So we are trying something different this season and we are counting on it to give us that extra edge that we've been lacking.

The Warriors have a strong relationship with FAST, Functional Accelerated Sports Training, of Northwest Ohio.  FAST is well known in the area for turning good athletes into great athletes.

FAST has been working with the Warriors players for the past few years, but this season Coach Parkins plans to get the whole team into the training program.
