CONTRACT
Jason Bott now playing for the Miami Valley

"It has been something I have always wanted to do; get
paid to play football," said Jason Bott.
His hard work has finally paid off as the outside
linebacker for the Lima Warriors signed a pro contract
with the Miami Valley Silverbacks of the
American Indoor Football League.
Bott was given the opportunity after a scout witnessed
him playing during a recent indoor football tournament
in which the Warriors participated. Bott said he
always believed he had what it took to compete at that
level, but was never given the chance. Now that he has
the opportunity he plans on making the most of it.
The Silverbacks are in their inaugural season and play
their home games at Hobart Arena in Troy, Ohio.
They kickoff their 2006 March 6 verse the Syracuse
Soldiers, but don't open up at home until April 1.
Bott looks to oow and aah the fans in Troy the same
way he did for the Warriors fans, with his bone
crushing hits.
