"There's always something that needs to be done," said
Hartman.
We are amongst the fortunate teams in minor league
football, because we do have great people who devote a
lot of time and energy in making this team the best it
can be. But there is always that not so exciting
job that has to be done, like lining the practice
field. Those are the projects that we can never
seem to get the volunteers for said Hartman as he
chuckled.
I would much rather give up a couple hours and get a
sore back lining a field so our players can have a
great practice, than just not do it and be mediocre.
I think that is what sets us a part from all other
teams, we don't settle for mediocre. We always
try to go above and beyond the norm and we strive to
improve each year.
Most all of the players and coaches on the Warriors
also work full time jobs and have families. That
makes volunteering time to a football team difficult
at times, but they also know all their sacrifices will
be repaid when they experience the success of the
Warriors.
I'm fortunate now said Hartman. My children are
getting old enough now that they can come with me on
days like today. My oldest son, Zander, looks
forward to coming to practices and game with now.
1-year Zara Hartman was not available for comment,
because she was worn out after she walked an entire
football field with her father. Thank you Zara.
