Lima
Warriors wide receiver/kick return specialist Joe
Butcher has been accepted to the 2007 Scout Camp Pro
Football Regional Combine.
This
combine will take place Saturday, June 2nd,
12:30 pm at the Kent State University field house. The
camp will consist of players running the 40 yard dash,
a vertical jump test, broad jump, 20 yard short
shuttle run, 3-cone drill and 225 lb bench press.
There will also be position specific drills for the
players.
Results from the combine are distributed to all clubs
in the NFL, NFL Europe, CFL, AFL and AF2.
“I’m
excited to get this chance,” said Butcher. “I will
put my full effort into being successful in this
combine.”
In
his 3rd year as a member of the Lima
Warriors amateur football team, Joe has been nothing
short of amazing. A game breaking playmaker whose
clutch catches and electrifying kick returns have
earned him the nickname “X Factor”.
Joe’s
storied career has included the following honors. In
2006 he was voted team captain. His other accolades
are as follows:
